So today I am doing the 3-Day Refresh, which is this 3-day kickstart back into healthier eating. Summer has been awesome, don’t get me wrong, but the amount of junk food I’ve been eating lately has made me feel lethargic and have trouble sleeping. So I decided to give this a try for a few reasons:
- It’s good to change up our habits! We can reach a plateau when we work out consistently. This 3-day “detox” will be good to hit the reset button and give my body a change.
- This 3-day Refresh is NOT a typical cleanse. (I HATE the word “cleanse”.) I don’t really like to do things like these because, well, I don’t like to feel starving all day. I don’t want to just drink juice every single day- that’s unreasonable. I want to CHEW!! The only time I don’t want to chew is post-op from jaw surgery. haha. But what’s interesting about this 3-day Refresh is that you eat fruits and veggies throughout the day with the “detox”- Hallelujah, food!
- I need to go out of my comfort zone. This is something that will help my body eliminate toxins that could be built up for awhile, and I’m excited to give it that boost too.
Day one, here I come!
