My Pinch of Human Weakness: Chips and Snacking

I will admit to you, my GFA readers, that some of my weakest eating moments occur in the evening. I consistently long for a salty, crunchy snack, and most of the time I am too lazy to make something complicated. Lay’s potato chips are gluten free and, with the right portion control, they are an okay snack once in awhile, but one of my New Year’s Resolutions is to find a better, healthier snack on which to munch late at night.

Active.com recently posted an article about this issue. Some of their suggestions may not be the norm (Kale chips? What?) but others simply give you a different option for the same idea (Terra Chips’ Terra Blues Potato Chips offer triple the fiber and half the fat of normal potato chips and are made from only blue potatoes, oil, and salt). There are also a few sweet snacking options if your sweet tooth gets the best of you instead!

You can check out the article for yourself here.
