As you know, I am a fan of the spaghetti dish (hence our new logo). Gluten free spaghetti is one of the most accessible GF dishes for someone who is looking to start a gluten free diet, both in cost-effectiveness and ease of cooking. I was privileged enough to try Jovial Foods’ Gluten Free Brown Rice Spaghetti, and a product review was born!

Initial Reactions: Packaging
The pasta was simply packed with a plastic liner that sealed the spaghetti until I opened it. Very easy!
How Does it Look?
The pasta looked, well, like normal pasta. The yellow sheen was milder than the Quinoa spaghetti I had reviewed previously. I could have put it in a normal spaghetti box and no one would have noticed it was gluten free from its appearance or manipulative ease when I broke the spaghetti in half to be cooked.
How does it cook?
I cooked the pasta for six minutes. I did not need to immediately stir the pasta- in fact, I forgot to- and the spaghetti did not stick to each other while cooking.
How Does it Taste?
This pasta was absolutely delicious. Its texture was smooth and tasted almost identically to regular pasta. Honestly, I don’t think someone could tell the difference. I made it with a small amount of mushroom pasta sauce and sautéed shrimp.
The pasta was easy to cook, delicious to eat, and good for you through its brown rice components.
Honestly, I think this will be my go-to spaghetti from now on. 5/5
